Everyone needs time to pamper themselves—and we don’t just mean with retail therapy. Fortunately, here in the dazzling Design District, we have plenty of ways to become our best selves! Looking for a day to reset? Hit the spa, workout or grab a deliciously-healthy bite to eat, all #atMDD. Find out where (and how!) below:

Healthy Eats at OTL + ella
In between your shopping sprees, grab a bite to eat! While there are healthy options almost everywhere, David Grutman’s OTL and Michael Schwartz’ ella have some good-for-you-good food you won’t be able to resist. At OTL, the Market Grain Bowl mixes seasonal vegetables, ancient grains, lemon-mustard vinaigrette, avocado and chicken, while the OTL Granola pumps you full of nutrients with rolled oats, hemp seeds, coconut and dates. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the OTL Super Seed Butter Toast with fresh berries on top of toasted brioche. If lunch is what you’re craving, stop by ella, where you can get Vegetable Tacos or a Shaved & Roasted Vegetable Salad with orange, farro, pumpkin seeds and Meyer lemon vinaigrette.

YogArt Comes Back for a Third Season
Presented by Chȃteau d’Esclans, YogArt is a unique yoga series that takes place monthly in MDD’s own Palm Court. Led by South Florida’s own Dawn B, who runs the Design District’s Ahana Yoga, doors will open at 6 p.m. with class, live music, healthy bites and wine running from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Looking for a new place to do your downward dog? The third season will kick-off on Thursday, November 9th.

Get Fit
In the Miami Design District, you can do more than just shop. (Not that we have anything against shopping, mind you.) DBC Fitness, for example, is a one-on-one personal training facility with pro athletes, real or wannabe, in mind. DBC stands for “Dumbbells, Barbells and Cables,” and that’s exactly what working out there is all about. Training is tailored to each individual’s needs and goals, and targets everything from first-step quickness and vertical explosiveness, to acceleration, deceleration, agility, linear speed, power development, core stability, mobility and more. When you’re done with all of that, there’s even an in-house cryotherapy machine to help your body recover.

Pamper Yourself
Emena Spa is the Design District’s own chic beauty lab. Go here for anything your body needs—like a haircut and color, a massage, an organic facial, or if you want it, even a little Dysport, Botox, Restylane or Juvederm to make your face look younger than ever. Opt for an 80-minute Petra Massage that uses smooth, heated stones and therapeutic massage techniques to keep you balanced, energized and of course, relaxed.
