Gilded, ornate and fabulous are all words that come to mind when thinking of Italian fashion label Versace. The eponymous line of the late designer Gianni Versace has made a move by bringing its home décor collection division in-house in order to oversee the designs that will go in yours.

Luckily for Miami, the Design District outpost will be one of the stores to carry the collection. Two of the latest pieces to debut are the Via Gesù Palazzo Empire sofa and the GVARDIAN collection.

Resembling the brand's iconic bag, Empire, the Via Gesù sofa’s clean modern lines are constructed out of sky blue nappa leather and features Versace’s iconic Medusa heads on each side of the base. The GVARDIAN sofa is a bit edgier featuring a futuristic feel with strong shapes and leathers and textiles in black, ivory, and moon grey.

The home collection also includes chairs and armchairs, tables, beds and home décor items like mirrors, trays and more all with the trademark Versace flair. This year it also celebrates a special home collaboration. For its 2017 tableware and glass collections, Versace teamed up with glassmaker Rosenthal to create a line that is a nod to the heritage of the company featuring its signature Baroque era print in tones of black, white and gold showcased in interchangeable geometric circle bands.

Versace Home is now open on the second floor of Versace at 186 NE 39th Street.
