The long marble bar top at MC Kitchen is the perfect neighborhood spot for people to grab a drink and a bite during these long summer months.

Chef and partner Dena Marino realized this and thought the bar area should be put to better use, so with that in mind she created a brand new, special bar menu filled with unique dishes.

“We all love bar food, especially good bar food,” notes Marino. “This isn't your typical bar food but the dishes are all so damn good and they are all also Italian!”

The menu is divided up into several portions that show MC Kitchen’s range and Italian style. The smaller bites include dishes like Marino’s Aspen’s Famous Truffle Fries with brown truffle gravy ($13), Stone Oven Roasted Jumbo Chicken Wings with garlic, herbs and lemon zest ($14), and a Salumi and Cheese board ($24).

If you’re craving one of MC Kitchen’s popular pizzas then you’re in luck both the Molinari Pepperoni Pizza with vine ripened tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese ($13) and the Meatball Calzone with ricotta, mozzarella, and calabrian diablo salsa ($15) can both be found on the bar menu. For those looking for something heartier a Half Pound Angus Burger with provolone cheese, thick cut bacon, caramelized onion and Dogfish onion rings ($17) should hit the spot.

It wouldn’t be a proper bar menu without plenty of drinks. In addition to new red and white wines by the glass, the bar is also featuring beer-based cocktails like the Big Brown Bunny with Dogfish Head Indian Brown, St. George “B&E” Bourbon whiskey, Bruce Cost’s ginger ale and macadamia nut ($12) and stronger drinks like the Jennie Jerome with Berkshire Mountain Bourbon Whiskey, Dancing Pines Chai, Vermouth, and Blood Orange Bitters ($12).

“Our bar is a great place to hang if you're with a group or even by yourself,” adds Marino. “Belly up and enjoy a glass of wine, one of our awesome cocktails or a seasonal Dogfish Head beer.”

All dishes and drinks are served seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the MC Kitchen bar.
