Wondering what to step out in this fall? Here are a few suggestions to keep you on your toes.

boyfriend shoe, dries van noten, doc martenesque, shoes

Boyfriend Shoes
They aren’t the sexiest thing to come out of your closet, but they won’t leave your feet aching at the end of the day either. Enter the boyfriend shoe. It’s basically the heels less cute cousin. And Dries Van Noten presented it for fall in a black Doc Marten-esque shape. Be sure to wear this with something uber feminine for perfect balance. Prada also offers a him-esque shoe for her in a black bootie shape with serious traction.

over the knee boots, shoes, fashion

Over the Knee Boots
When it comes to boots, it doesn’t get much sexier than over-the-knee. And Prada’s distressed black version of the trend is dead sexy. Wear it with a micro mini so no inch of beautiful boot gets covered. Balenciaga went for a more practical take on the trend with a stacked heel (also big this season) and silver detail on its suede offering.

mac jacobs, retro, heels, shoes, fashon

Retro
Marc Jacobs presented feminine footwear for fall 2013. Think ‘40s throwback with a t-strap in snake. Prada brings a similar look, though more of a ‘60s vibe, but still a retro homage with its silver and black basic sandals.

louis vuitton, christian louboutin, heels, shoes, fashion

Sky High
Louis Vuitton isn’t about keeping a good woman down. In fact, the shoes shown at this year’s show were all about elevating her to new heights. Think outrageously high heels with ankle straps in perfectly washed-out greys. Of equal stature, Christian Louboutin’s Un Bout clear heels with silver tips and ankle straps. Good luck finding them though, they are one hot commodity.

Get steppin’.
